A Relentless Pursuit for Love

Chapter 252

Chapter 252

‘Clothes maketh the man.’

That saying was true.

No one batted an eye at Leah with her simple attire, but Sage immediately caught everyone’s eye, especially the sales advisors’ attention with her clothes worth a mansion. Even the wealthy customers were green with envy, and they began to think to themselves. “Where did she get the jumpsuit? I looked for it everywhere!” “Oh gosh, am I dreaming? Wasn’t that the limited edition Himalayan Birkeen Bag with diamond clasps from the auction that day?” “Her aura is so strong as she walks, and that hair! Is she shooting a commercial? It’s gorgeous! Every strand of her hair glows!” “Please, I’ll bow down to you!”

The whole shop was silent.

The sales advisor was not clever and observant. She continued to yell, “Are you two trying to cause a scene? Security, drag these two out of the shop! What are you waiting for?” Men dressed in black appeared out of nowhere as the security guards approached Leah and Sage. They were tall and mighty compared to the skinny security guards from the shop. They quickly formed a barrier surrounding Sage.

No one could go near her. It was exactly like a scene from the movies. Everyone was astounded, and a crowd gathered outside the shop as they did not dare to come any closer.

“I’ve seen a lot of things, but this is the first time I’ve encountered such poor service,” Sage raised her eyebrows and continued, “Did you go through any training? Don’t you know that the customer is king? You’re just a salesperson, even if you’re selling exquisite jewelry. What’s with that attitude? Who do you

think you are?” Sage’s mouth spat words like a machine gun, reprimanding the sales advisor continuously. Though she was calm, the sales advisors were dumbstruck. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

The sales advisor got her job through her brother-in-law-the shop manager. It was not her first time being rude to a customer, but the other sales advisors kept quiet because of the manager.

However, that was her first time being reprimanded by a customer. One of the sales advisors quickly called the store manager as it got heated by the minute.

Fortunately, the manager was nearby. He quickly rushed back to the store and was shocked by the sheer amount of bodyguards. He finally got through and snuck into the store.

“I don’t like you. That’s why I’m not selling the bracelet to you. What are you doing to do with me? Are you going to hit me? I am telling you, my brother-in-law is the store manager, and my uncle is the deputy chief police,” shouted the sales advisor.

The manager almost fainted upon hearing her speech.

Sage smirked as she heard her response. “Oh, it’s no wonder you’re so arrogant. Leah, call Hunter now and ask him to check who owns this store. Then, we’ll buy it, and you can do whatever you want with it.”

Leah was confused, but she did it anyway. Hunter arrived before she could hit the call button. Hunter glared madly at the sales advisor upon learning what had just happened. How dare she treat Leah like that?

Hunter made a few called and reported to Sage, “Miss Sage, this shop belongs to Adrian James. He’s from the James family. He would like to have a word with you.” Sage looked up as Hunter switched on the loudspeaker mode. Adrian rambled apologetically over the phone. “Miss Norah, I’m so sorry for your experience at my store today. I would like to apologize on behalf of my staff. Please don’t stoop down to her level. You may pick anything you want, anything from my store! It’s on me.”
