A Night's Mistake: The Besotted CEO's Obsession

Chapter 506

Chapter 506

The director realized that he had made a mistake. Initially, he thought Queena was

s just

á newcomer without much background. Also, he was influenced by the strong connections of the male lead at that time and was charmed by Queena’s innocence, so he supported the male lead.

To his surprise, Queena turned out to be Hallet’s girlfriend and the heiress of the Yearwood Group. He had offended two significant figures directly./

The original male lead in the film was also replaced due to this incident, despite having completed most of his scenes. This unexpected turn halted the progress of the production momentarily.

Thankfully, Hallet, doting on his girlfriend, decided to step in as the male lead himself to prevent any further harassment towards Queena.

Hallet had a good appearance and solid acting skills, even outshining some A–list male stars on screen. This gave the director, who had been working in the entertainment industry for a long time without a major hit, hope. He already sensed that this project was going to be a hit and wanted to have the two of them collaborate on a sequel.

The director seemed to ignore Queena’s refusal and continued cheerfully speaking to Hallet, “Mr. Gordon, Ms. Yearwood is just starting her acting career and needs to build her portfolio. This is a golden opportunity.”

In response, Hallet glanced at him coldly, gently tugging at the corner of his lips. “You don’t need to worry about Queena’s development. You should worry about yourself. Do you think anyone will invest in your projects in the future?”

“What do you mean?” The smile vanished from the director’s face.

Hallet narrowed his eyes slightly, looking extremely intimidating. “You’ve tried to manipulate my woman, so you know what I mean.”

Although Hallet didn’t explicitly say it, the implication was clear. He was only staying on to complete the movie for Queena because it was her first lead role, and he didn’t want her time to be wasted. Otherwise, there would be no chance to finish the

film at all.

Having said his piece, Hallet took Queena and left.

The director’s face turned pale as he fell to the ground suddenly, with only one thought in his mind– his career was over, completely finished.

No matter how talented a director might be, without funding, their skills are practically meaningless. The director lamented, ‘How did I not realize Cynthia’s background was this strong?‘ Regret filled his expression as he thought about his mistakes.

After leaving the set, Hallet took Queena straight back to his apartment.

He led her to the sofa, made her sit down, poured a glass of water, and then asked, “Queenie, are you planning to rest for a bit, or would you like to continue shooting another movie?”

On the way back, Hallet had already made up his mind. He decided that he would oversee any movies Queena starred in from now on, ensuring that the previous incident would never happen

again.

A moment of silence passed as Queena looked at Hallet. She couldn’t come up with an immediate response.

She was certain she still enjoyed acting, but after the recent events, she understood that being part of the entertainment industry would always involve some degree of fame and fortune, which she didn’t appreciate.

So, she wanted to take some time off to reflect on whether she could ignore those aspects and focus solely on acting.

Queena shared her Iftaughts, with Hallet. As expected, Hället raised an eyebrow, pulling her into his arms, and softly said, Alright, I support you. This break will give me the opportunity to showcase myself too.”

Hallet then got up and went to the bedroom. Two minutes later, he returned with a card in his hand. He handed the card to Querna. “This is my supplementary card. Use it to buy whatever you want in the future.

Queena stared at the card in her hand, feeling a mix of emotion swirling inside her. This moment seemed almost like the roinance novels she had read. The present Hallet exuded immense charm.

However, she could still distinguish between fiction and reality the end, she returned the card to him. “No matter what, I am still a daughter of the Yearwood family. I have money of my own. Please take back this card,” she said.

Hallet gazed at the card back in his possession and shook his head with a hint of resignation. He hadn’t expected Cynthia, who usually seemed innocent and easily fooled, to stand firm of her principles at a time like this.

Hallet didn’t know if he should be happy or sad. He simply placed the card in Queena’s bag and imperiously stated, “You are now my woman, it is only right for me to provide for you.”

At this moment, Queena was stubborn. The education she received from a young age prevented her from accepting being financially supported by a man before marriage. So, she took the bag, intending to return the card to Hallet once again.

Infuriated by her stubbornness, Hallet glared fiercely at her, not sure how to handle this woman. As Queena searched for the. card in her bag. Hallet couldn’t contain himself any longer. He picked her up and headed towards the bedroom.

Startled, Queena’s grip on the bag loosened and it fell to the floor. She breathed lightly, holding onto Hallet’s neck, and gave hima reproachful look. “What are you doing?”

“If you don’t listen, I’ll punish you,” Hallet said as he carried Queena to the edge of the bed. With a forceful push, he threw her onto the bed before diving towards her.

Queena was disoriented by the sudden movement, and before she could react, she felt the weight on top of her, followed by the soft touch of her lips. Hallet’s kiss was domineering, his forceful

actions invading her mouth, coercing her soft tongue to dance with his.

His hands were not idle, exploring the curves of the woman through her clothes. Initially, Queena struggled but soon succumbed, her body becoming unnaturally limp, breathing heavily with delicate gasps.

After a while, as Queena started to lose consciousness, Hallet finally lifted his head slightly, breathing heavily as he stared down at the woman beneath him.

“Do you want my card now?” Flames gathered in Hallet’s eyes, as if any contradiction would incinerate Queena completely.

At that moment, Queena’s mind couldn’t react properly. She could only reflexively shake her head, unsure if she was refusing the card or resisting Hallet’s dominance.

Faced with the continued stubbornness of Queena, Hallet let out an almost imperceptible sigh. “You brought this upon yourself.” Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

In the following time, Hallet carried Queena to the bathroom. After a brief wash, he tormented Queena twice, each time whispering in her ear with a tempting voice, asking if she would accept his card, only to receive the same head–shaking response.

This frustrated him, prompting him to return Queena to the bed. For the next few hours, Queena experienced what it truly felt like to be utterly exhausted.

Towards the end, she could only watch Hallet’s lips moving, her eyes closing intermittently, unable to comprehend his words.

As she neared passing out, she finally understood, nodding in agreement under Hallet’s coercive gaze before slipping into
