A Night With The Ruthless Mafia Don

Chapter 17: Stalking Her

Marisa’s groans of pain filled the room as she slowly opened her eyes, finding herself beneath an unfamiliar white ceiling. Confusion swept over her as she glanced around the room, her memory returning in waves as she recalled the events of the previous night.

Summoning her courage, she attempted to rise from the bed, but a powerful hand encircled her waist possessively, restraining her. Her gaze locked onto Alejandro, whose eyes held an intense possessiveness, causing her to gulp nervously. Her struggles to stand were futile, as he firmly pulled her back onto the bed.

“F***ing leave me alone; I need to go,” Marisa demanded, her eyes locked with Alejandro’s, who continued to gaze at her with icy determination.

Alejandro had no intention of releasing her; he despised the fact that he would eventually have to let her go. But eventually, he reluctantly relented, allowing her to stand. She swiftly wrapped a sheet around herself, trying so hard to avoid his gaze.

His eyes never left her as she made her way into the bathroom, a wicked smirk playing on his lips as he recollected the intensity of their encounter. It had been an unforgettable experience for him, especially considering she still had a tight honeypot after claiming that she was a mother. The thought of possessing her again consumed him, and he was willing to go to any lengths to make it happen.

Alejandro had never been drawn to any woman like this before, except his lover who died five years ago. Ever since then, no woman had been able to fascinate him or attract him. But Marisa just did, and he refused to let her slip through his fingers.

He made a dangerous decision to claim her as his own. His thoughts took on a dark and dangerous edge as he contemplated what he would do once he claimed her entirely. His eyes held promises that ventured into dangerous territory, promises he was more than willing to fulfill.

Marisa emerged from the bathroom minutes later, wearing the same dress from the night before, and Alejandro’s gaze remained fixed on her. Her movements clearly indicated that she had been thoroughly affected by their passionate encounter the previous night, and he couldn’t help but want her again. His dark eyes traced every curve of her enticing body. He felt like ripping the dress off her tempting body and have sex with her that moment, but he managed to control his dark desires.

“I need to go right now,” Marisa declared, tossing his jacket towards him. It was the jacket he gave her the previous night when they were heading to the hotel. Alejandro picked up the jacket, and he closed his eyes momentarily, inhaling deeply as he caught the scent of her on the jacket. It was a scent he desired to keep with him always.

“It smells exactly like her,” he thought to himself, clutching the jacket close to his chest.

Marisa watched him with a puzzled expression, unaware of the dark thoughts swirling in his mind. If only she knew the dark intentions he harbored at this moment, she might have run out of the room. She took her gaze off him and grabbed her handbag.

“Wait!” Alejandro exclaimed just as Marisa was about to leave the room. Marisa halted and turned to face him. Alejandro stood up from the bed, dressed only in a singlet and boxers. Her gaze instinctively averted from his imposing figure.

“You forgot this,” he said, extending her pink panties toward her with a sly smirk on his handsome face. Marisa gasped in embarrassment, attempting to snatch it from him, but he resisted. Instead, he brought the panties to his nose, inhaling deeply, and held it close to himself.

“I like the smell; I’m going to keep it,” he declared, breathing in the scent again, which made Marisa frowned in humiliation.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

“Good thing this is going to be the last time we see each other. You can keep it for as long as you want, asshole!” she asserted, trying to regain her composure. Alejandro chuckled darkly, a sound that sent shivers down her spine.

“That’s where you’re mistaken, sweetheart, because we’re going to be seeing a lot more of each other soon,” he stated, his smirk taking on an even more sinister edge.

Marisa stared at him, realizing that he was deadly serious. His words were not idle threats; they were a promise of something far more ominous.

“What’s with the delay, sweetheart? Don’t you want to leave anymore? So you wanna spend another day with daddy?” He arched an eyebrow, and she let out a scoff in response.

She took a few steps away, but her path was abruptly halted as she was pulled back into the embrace of a solid chest. Looking up, she found herself locked in a gaze with dark, penetrating eyes.

“Be careful swaying your sexy ass around because I can’t stand other men eyeing what’s already mine,” he declared, his words carrying a weight of seriousness and a hint of menace.

She cautiously distanced herself from him and made her hasty exit, not daring to glance back at those intense eyes.

“He seemed so intimidating,” she thought as she walked outside, her movements slightly self-conscious as she noticed people’s stares due to her peculiar gait.

Without hesitation, she hurriedly left the building, and almost immediately, two of Alejandro’s bodyguards approached her, bowing respectfully, which left her puzzled.

“Please, ma, the boss instructed us to take you home. Would you please get into the car?” one of them requested, and Marisa tried to walk away, but they held her gently, their tone imploring.

“Please, ma, don’t make this difficult for us. Let us take you home or else the boss will punish us severely,” he added, and Marisa complied, stepping into the waiting vehicle as they quickly zoomed off towards their destination.

Marisa rested her head against the car window, gazing out at the breathtaking cityscape of New York. A soft sigh escaped her lips, and her eyes drifted to her phone’s wallpaper, a picture of her and a little boy, both radiating happiness in that captured moment.

“I’m doing all of this for you. No regrets,” she whispered to herself, brushing away the tears that had welled up in her eyes. Everything she had gone through the previous night had been for the sake of her son, Jeffery. She had promised herself that she’d take care of him, and she was determined to keep that promise, no matter the cost.

“Ma’am, where are you living?” one of the suited men in the car inquired.

She looked around, sighing deeply. “Just stop here,” she instructed, though the men seemed reluctant, reminding her of her boss’s orders.

“Ma’am, our boss specifically instructed us to drop you at your house, so if you could please-”

“Can you just stop the car?!” She interrupted, raising her voice slightly.

Almost immediately, the car came to a halt, and she stepped out.

“Thank you for the ride,” she said, offering a polite farewell before she ventured onto the bustling streets of New York.

As she walked, the curious gazes of passersby couldn’t escape her notice. She knew that their attention was drawn by her unusual gait. Young men stared at her with a familiar interest, causing her to lower her gaze shyly.

As Marisa continued her walk through the bustling streets, her phone suddenly emitted a familiar beep, signaling a new notification. She quickly retrieved her phone from her bag, her heart pounding with curiosity and hope.

When she unlocked the device, her eyes widened in disbelief at the sight that greeted her. It was a credit alert for a staggering two million dollars. Her fingers trembled as she read the accompanying message, and realization washed over her like a tidal wave.

“Is this… is this the payment for the hook-up service I offered?” she whispered to herself, her voice barely audible amidst the noise of the city. It all became clear now – the intense encounter with Alejandro. It was the payment for the night they had shared.

Without wasting a moment, Marisa’s mind raced as she knew exactly what she needed to do with this money. Her thoughts immediately went to her son, the little boy in the photo on her phone’s wallpaper. He was in the hospital, desperately in need of surgery that she couldn’t afford on her own.

Determination filled her, and she hailed a passing cab, her heart racing with a mixture of hope and urgency. She was determined to reach the hospital as quickly as possible. According to the doctor, she had just twenty-four hours to pay for her son’s surgery and time was running out. She only had less than an hour to get to the hospital.

As the cab sped through the city streets, Marisa clutched her phone tightly, hoping the cab would arrive at the hospital in time.

The cab swiftly arrived at the hospital, and as soon as it came to a stop, Marisa paid the driver before rushing out of the vehicle, her steps quick and determined. She pushed through the hospital’s entrance doors, her heart pounding with the urgency of her mission.

Amidst the bustling hospital corridors, her hurried pace led to an unexpected encounter. Marisa, lost in her thoughts and focused on her destination, collided with a handsome stranger. The impact was forceful enough to nearly send her tumbling to the ground.

Instinctively, the man wrapped his strong arms around her waist, preventing her from falling. Their faces were suddenly mere inches apart, and both of them found themselves locked in a brief but intense gaze.

Marisa couldn’t help but notice just how handsome this stranger was. His dark hair framed a chiseled jawline, and his deep, kind eyes held a warmth that immediately put her at ease. He had a rugged charm about him that was hard to ignore.

“I’m… I’m so sorry,” Marisa stammered, realizing she had nearly caused both of them to fall.

The man smiled gently, his grip on her waist still secure. “No worries, accidents happen.”

Breaking the momentary silence, he extended a hand and introduced himself, “I’m Dave.”

Marisa offered a grateful smile, feeling a sudden connection with this stranger who had just saved her from a potential fall. “I’m Marisa.”

However, just as they were exchanging pleasantries, a sudden rush of anxiety gripped Marisa as she remembered the reason she had come to the hospital. She couldn’t linger any longer.

“I’ve got to go,” she hurriedly explained, her voice filled with urgency, and she bid Dave a hasty goodbye. Without wasting another second, she resumed her determined stride, making her way to her son’s ward.

Meanwhile at a corner in the hospital, am hefty man dressed in black suit had taken a photograph of Marisa and Dave, the stranger she bumped into. The man sent the picture to his boss, Alejandro.

Actually, after Marisa left the hotel where she had a passionate night with Alejandro, Alejandro instructed one of his men to stalk her and find out where she’s headed. The man stalked Marisa, and he followed her to the hospital. He also captured the moment when Dave wrapped his arm around Marisa’s waist to prevent her from falling.

Upon securing the photograph, the operative expeditiously transmitted it to Alejandro. Moments later, a call chimed through the operative’s phone. He scrutinized the caller ID, confirming it was Alejandro, and promptly answered, holding the phone to his left ear.

“Greetings boss?”

“Who is that individual who dared to encircle Marisa’s waist?” Alejandro inquired, his voice simmering with anger.

“His name is Dave, sir, just an ordinary individual whom Marisa collided with while rushing into the hospital,” Alejandro’s operative responded.

“Are you sure he’s just a random guy or her boyfriend?” Alejandro probed further.

“Yes, sir. They introduced themselves, implying they’ve just met today,” the operative clarified.

“Keep a close eye on Marisa, and don’t hesitate to kill any man who touches her or gets close to her,” Alejandro instructed with a strict tone. “I repeat, eliminate any man within a ten-foot radius of her. Is that perfectly comprehended?”

“Crystal clear, boss,” the operative acknowledged, as Alejandro severed the connection. The operative then scrutinized the hospital’s lobby for Marisa’s presence, spotting her on her way to a room, and promptly resumed his discreet pursuit.
