That smile
I was completely relaxed, this bed was soft, warm, it felt like being in the best place in the world, my body felt comfortable.
I wanted to keep sleeping, rest a little longer, but a voice interrupted my rest. I slowly opened my eyes to adjust to the brightness until I was awake enough to see him.
"Samantha, please, come back home. I promise we'll talk and find a solution."
"Serkan... What are you doing here?" I asked, astonished.
He was about to answer when a voice interrupted us.
"What the hell are you doing in my house? I didn't let you in," shouted the doctor, who looked annoyed and surprised.
"I came for my wife, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. If you know what's good for you, get out of my way."
"And if I don't?"
Serkan didn't answer, he just smiled maliciously as he picked me up from the bed, leaving me surprised.
"Let me go!" I shouted, still taken aback.
"No, you and I are going to our house, as newlyweds, and you," he said as he pointed at the poor doctor, "will disappear from our lives. I don't want you near my wife, because I swear you'll pay for it." With that, we left the apartment. The last thing I saw was my savior with an angry look for not being able to rescue me once again.
"Let go of me, damn it! I can walk, don't be insolent," I yelled as I kicked my legs.
"You'll hurt the baby, and that's not what we want. Behave, we'll talk at home."
I was left speechless. He had mentioned the baby and didn't even flinch or lose his temper.
We arrived at the car, and his driver was waiting for us. He lifted me into the car without saying a word, but I was very nervous, and when that happened, I couldn't stop talking or, in this case, fall silent. The tension in the room became evident as I tried to understand the situation and find the courage to confront Serkan.
"Serkan, I don't understand what's happening. Why are you acting like this? Why did you take me out of the apartment and bring me here against my will? You can't just make decisions for me."
"Samantha, I know this is difficult to accept, but it's for our own good and the baby's. I can't let that doctor get close to you again. I don't trust him, and I don't want you in danger. I know I didn't handle it the best way, but it's all your fault." "I don't care what you believe, Serkan. You can't make decisions like this, let alone threatening other people. I can't let you get away with this, I want you to stop the car."
"In your dreams," he sarcastically replied.
"If you don't stop the car, I'll jump," I angrily yelled.
"That's enough!" he shouted, losing control. "Don't make me lose my patience. I paid a lot of money for you, or have you forgotten that you agreed to it? I made the mistake of sleeping with you, and now we have a problem on the way. We need to resolve it, and then you can die if you want. You mean very little to me."
"You're scum, just like my father," I answered, furious. I wouldn't let myself be humiliated anymore.
"You have to understand, Samantha, that I take care of my money and I only want to protect you. I worry about you and our baby. I can't let the doctor interfere in our lives, nor in my plans. You're a good investment."
"We can resolve this peacefully and calmly through conversation. But you can't force me to do something I don't want to do. I can't just erase someone from my life because you say so. I know this is a marriage that cost you money, but I don't want to be here. I can pay you."
The tension continued to grow between us as neither of us would stop fighting to make our positions clear.
"With what will you pay me? You don't have a penny, that's why we're in this mess."
"I didn't ask for your help," I replied, looking directly into his eyes.
"And I didn't force you to sign that agreement. It was you who changed everything for money."
We arrived at his house, and I felt ashamed. What would the employees say? They had all witnessed the spectacle of that night.
Serkan took me to his office, it seemed as if he were dragging me, but that wasn't the case. We were both walking very fast. I wanted to free myself from his grip, and he wanted to resolve everything.
We entered his beautiful home office, which perfectly matched his appearance - pristine, sophisticated, elegant.
"Let's clarify this once and for all," he said as he poured himself a glass of brown liquid.
"It's not your child, you can relax," I lied. The truth was, I didn't know who the father was.
His head turned abruptly to look at me, flames emanating from his eyes.
"What do you mean?" he asked as he approached me.
"I slept with someone else before we got married, so I don't know if it's yours or his, but I suppose it's from that unknown man because I didn't see his face. I met him at the bar where I saw you."NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
"Damn it!" he shouted as he threw the glass. "You don't even know who it is. I thought you were different, I didn't think you were so stupid. I want you to have the child, no one has to know it's not mine. Besides, I'll pay you to have it. I need it for my plans."
"What do you mean?" I was confused. Was he buying the baby?
"I'm going to receive an inheritance, and having a family was a requirement. You made it easier for me. I'm more at ease knowing it doesn't have my blood. I'll pay you, I'll receive my inheritance, and you'll disappear. That's what you want in the end, but you'll do everything as I order."
"I'm not a rag doll. If I accept this, I have conditions. After you get what you want, I want a divorce, money, and I never want to cross paths with you again."
He looked at me and smiled with those perfect teeth that would melt anyone, but in my case, it disgusted me. I was completely sure of that. I couldn't stand the way Serkan treated me, manipulating me. I couldn't live like this, and if he really was going to buy me to have the baby as part of his plans, then I had to take advantage of that opportunity to free myself from him once and for all. No matter how much money he offered me, my freedom and happiness were priceless. I wouldn't stay with him, not even for all the gold in the world. It was impossible for me to fall in love with him. Was I really sure of that?
