Chapter 108
Chapter 108
“Looks like this is really Lucas Wyatt’s ashes.” Lord Barbenheim smiled when he saw their reactions.
Then, he flicked his arm.
The um left his grasp and fell to the floor.
The Wyatt sisters panicked.
Dustin’s face froze, and he moved in a flash.
He was determined to reach the urn as fast as possible to prevent the ashes from spilling onto the floor.
With his speed, even though he was over thirty feet away, he could have made it in time. But just as he neared Lord Barbenheim, he heard a loud bang and saw a knife flying straight to his heart.
Dustin had to parry it.
The um crashed on the floor.
Crash!
It shattered to pieces, and the ashes spilled all over the floor.
“Dad” the Wyatt sisters cried out.
Dustin’s face was murderous.
He did not care about anyone in the Wyatt family aside from Lucas, who had raised him.
He was a father and teacher to Dustin. He was the only person who had shown Dustin kindness in the Wyatt
family.
Dustin would always honor Lucas, which was why he had served the Wyatt family for so many years because Lucas had requested it. Even after suffering endless injuries and enduring scorn from others, he had given his all to protect the Wyatt family.
If not for the cold betrayal by the Wyatt sisters that day, he would still be protecting this family
When he
saw Lucas’s ashes scatter all over the floor, Dustin’s eyes turned bloodshot with rage.
Even if Lord Barbenheim ruled over Grayvale, all Dustin could think about at the moment w… to kill him.
When he saw that there was nothing among the ashes on the floor, Lord Barbenheim was disappointed.
He just wanted to see whether the urn had the treasure.
“I’ll give you half an hour. Hand over the treasure, or I’m going to kill all of you,” Lord Barbenheim said icily.
“Dustin, hand it over already! Do you really want to see us all die?!” Elisa cried out.
“You couldn’t even protect your own teacher’s ashes. Are you still human? Are you just going to let other people walk all over Dad?” Delia was enraged and cursed Dustin.
Dustin stared at the ashes on the floor and felt disappointed.
Even with their father’s ashes scattered all over the floor all they thought about was reaching a compromise with Lord Barbenheim and blaming everything on him!
They were absurd‘
“Hand it over, young man,” said Lord Barbenheim as he stared at Dustin
“You want it?” Dustin sneered. “Then, get it from hell!”
At that moment, he let his anger take control, and he was filled with bloodlust.
Lord Barbenheim had dug up Lucas’s grave, and Dustin was not going to forgive him. He had thrown the urn to the floor and scattered the ashes. For that, Dustin was going to kill him.
Dustin moved so quickly that Lord Barbenheim froze.
He had fought as a soldier for years and had earned the title of a lord because of his achievements. Naturally, he was a strong person.
He could sense how extraordinary Dustin was the moment he saw him.
Even so, Lord Barbenheim did not move. It was as if he did not think Dustin’s attack was a threat to him.
When Dustin arrived next to Lord Barbenheim, another knife shot at him. This time, it possessed immense
power.
Dustin’s attack was blocked once again. When he parried the knife, he looked to the side with an icy face.
A thin, old man stepped forward with a sneer.
“If you want to hurt His Highness, you’ll have to go through me,” said the old man with disdain.
Dustin burned with even more murderous rage.
If this person had not ambushed him with a knife, he could have protected Lucas’s ashes.
This man was disgusting! He had to die! Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
“Fine. I’ll kill you first!” Dustin snapped. He gave up on Lord Barbenheim and charged at the old man.
